Sealant/Caulking

Keeping tubes of sealant or caulking around is an absolute must. Once you begin roof repair, odds are that you’ll find spots weak spots where water can leak through. Use the sealant or caulking to patch them up.

Metal Flashing

Metal flashing is also used to prevent water from getting inside. It’s typically used around chimneys, vents, skylights, doors, and any other areas where it may be easy for water to get in. The metal flashing is applied to divert water away from the opening.
